Search and Matching
Call for Papers
The European Search and Matching Network (SaM) invites submissions for its fourth Annual Conference. It will take place on the 8th, 9th and 10th of May 2014 at the University of Edinburgh (U.K).
Submissions are welcome from all areas of economics as long as search and matching framework stands at the core of the argument. Authors of theoretical papers and authors of empirical papers are equally encouraged to submit. All presentations are in plenary sessions. There are no parallel sessions.
Invited keynote speakers for the conference are Per Krusell (IIES Stockholm) and Costas Meghir (Yale University).
Paper submissions should be sent as an email attachment to sam2014.submissions(at)gmail.com by the 15st of February 2014. Acceptance decisions will be communicated by the 1st of March 2014.
All the participants, whether presenting or not, will need to register before the 15th of March 2014. A link to the registration page will be available in the new year.
We are very happy to announce that we can offer a subsidy (up to £200) towards the travel and accommodation costs of a number of PhD students and young post-docs (i.e. those within four years after completion of their PhD). Priority will be given to those who are selected to present a paper.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Edinburgh!
