Céline holds degrees from the University of Marne la Vallée, France, and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She is in the process of completing her PhD at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Céline joined the Department of Economics at Glasgow in September 2007. She was recently a visiting researcher at the Université Catholique de Louvain and has also held research and teaching posts at the University of Cergy-Pontoise (France), the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, the University of Waseda (Japan) and the French Ministry of Research.
Céline works in the area of development and international economics. She is mainly interested in the impact of taxation on the location decisions of multinationals in developing and emerging countries. She also works on a number of taxation related issues such as international tax competition, tax planning of multinationals, and the economic influence of tax sparing. In addition, she studies how bad governance and infectious diseases harm the integration of Sub-Saharan Africa in the world economy.
Personal Interests
Celine loves to dance in particular Salsa and Flamenco. She likes watching movies, to read, to hike, and to do sports, in particular roller sports, bicycle, volley-ball and tennis. |
