Cornell University and the University of Edinburgh, with the support of the British Academy, hosted a major international conference on June 5-7, 2009, in Edinburgh on the theme of "Relativity, Inequality and Public Policy".
Speakers at this 3-day conference included Carol Graham, Andrew Oswald, Matthew Rabin, Imran Rasul, Aldo Rustichini, Bernard van Praag, Lise Vesterlund and Shlomo Yitzhaki.
