Ed Hopkins studied at Oxford University, LSE and the European University Institute, in Florence, Italy. He has been at Edinburgh since 1995, but in that time he has also been a visitor at the EUI, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of California, Santa Barbara and the California Institute of Technology.

Ed’s research is in game theory with a focus on behavioural, social and experimental economics.
